Dear Family and Friends,
Well I am sad to say that I did get transferred! I’m sad because I loved the members and the investigators and my companion and everything!!! But I am also happy to say that I have been transferred to Muñoz 1B; Guimba Zone! So I went back to Cab Side! And Guess who my companion is?.... Sister Shipley!!!! She is from Saint George! She lives by Sunset Elementary!!!! Our houses are maybe 10 minute walk away from each other!!! J and it’s crazy that we became companions!!! But I am also so excited! J
Well Conference was absolutely amazing this weekend!!!! I loved all of the talks! Especially the talk about “Ponderizing”. I decided to apply what he said because of what it says in Preach My Gospel: “Those who listen to and follow the counsel of living prophets and apostles will not go astray. The teachings of living prophets provide and anchor of eternal truth in a world of shifting values and help us avoid misery and sorrow. The confusion and strife of the world will not overwhelm us, and we can enjoy the assurance of being in harmony with God’s will.” So I found a scripture last night that I will ponder for the whole week! The Scripture I picked was 2 Nephi 31:13!! “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I know that if ye shall follow the Son, with no hypocrisy and no deception before God, but with real intent…” I only picked the first half of the verse! Because this verse helps me remember who I’m following and what I need to be! It also helps me to remember my purpose as a missionary and that I need to fulfill with all my heart and serve him until the very end without turning back!
Well I learned so much more from Conference but I can’t share it all right now because there is not enough time! But I am so grateful for our Living Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and for the apostles that have been called to lead us! I know that Joseph Smith restored to true gospel through the Prophet Joseph Smith and that we would not be here right now without it!
Well I love you all so much! And I am so grateful for your support and love for me! J Take care always!

Dear Family and Friends,

This week we have been so blessed! Sister Vangie and Brother Bong were finally baptized!!! J and when they shared their testimonies at their baptism… it was so amzing to see how strong their testimony was and how much they have grown! And Then on Sunday Sister Vangie got up and bore her testimony to everyone. She was so scared but she said that she just felt a strong feeling telling her to go up there! And She just gave such a beautiful testimony that I know that the whole ward needed to hear! They are really converted to the gospel. And what was so great is that her daughter came to church with them and in Sister Vangie’s testimony she said that she hopes her children and grandchildren will also be baptized! So we will try and teach her daughter this coming week! J

Well Sister Salde and I are still doing great and we are really working hard! We are really building the trust with the members right now! I am so grateful to be in this area and serve these wonderful people here! Transfer week is this week and I don’t want to transfer! Because if I transfer I am only in one area for 4 weeks! But I guess if that is what the Lord wants for me, I will!!

Well yesterday at church, even though our two brand new recent converts are not off of the ISM count, we were blessed to have 2 brand new investigators come to church! Our pipeline is still flowing and we have made a lot of time for finding this next week! I know that numbers are not what we are going for… but the K.I.’s really do help give us have a goal and motive to fulfill our purpose and become who God wants us to be! J

Well I don’t have much to write this time! But I do have a lot of pictures to send! J

Thank you so much everyone for your love and support! J Ingat po kayo lagi!

Dear Family and Friends,

This was such a great week! Especially because of the interview with Sister Vangie and Brother Bong yesterday! They were so happy to know that they could finally be baptized! They have been waiting a long time for this day! We will have their baptism on Wednesday @ 5:00! I am so excited!! After their interview Sister Vangie couldn’t help but cry tears of joy!!! J it was the sweetest moment ever!!! J

Well Sister Salde and I are doing great! We really have a great time together! I wouldn’t mind staying with her for my last transfer! J I really don’t want to transfer but we will see next week! Ah!

Well this week I had exchanges with Sister Larga! She was very nervous… but as soon as she realized that exchanges were a great experience I think she was okay! She really impressed me with her inspired questions, because usually new missionaries struggle with that! But she was absolutely great! I really enjoyed my exchanges with her and I know that she is going to be a great missionary! She is still adjusting to missionary life! But I made sure to ask if she and Sister Ram were reading “adjusting to missionary life” and they were! I told her to just keep reading it! I know that she is in great hands with Sister Ram!

I also had exchanges with Sister Benosa! Sister Benosa is a really hard worker! She is struggling with opening her mouth and testifying sometimes! But she really is stretching herself as she talks to everyone! I really hope that she will apply that to her area as well! She is a great missionary! I enjoyed exchanges with her! We actually have a lot in common and became great friends because of the one day that we had together! J Maybe I will see her in California one day because that is where her real mission is and she will be going there in just a few weeks! J

This last Monday we taught Brother Marck Mangino! And when we went to his house… his sister and mom were willing to listen as well. Marck and Lizel both accepted the BGD! But the mom wasn’t ready yet! So we will keep going back and teaching them and keep praying her their mom… I know one day her heart will soften! Her husband died about 3 years ago and she has just been working so hard for her children!!! But I know that God has a perfect timing for everyone! J

Well I am grateful to be a missionary and to preach the gospel to these wonderful people!!! I love them so much!!!!!! I never want to leave!!!!

Mahal ko kayo! J Ingat!

Dear Family and Friends!

This week has been really good! I had a great opportunity to go on exchanges with Sister Nuku! She is from New Zealand! She is so kind and loving to everyone around her! And she is SOOOO humble! I really admire her for that! She is a hard worker and willing to apply everything that she learns! I really had a great time with her!

This last week we even had our Zone Conference! I really learned a lot! I learned how the Holy Ghost can better work with us as missionaries and with our investigators! As we have applied what we learned… we have seen a big difference in our teaching skills and also in our investigators and less active members! We have seen the Holy Ghost touch their hearts! This has been a really great week! We even met a Pastor of another church and he was so nice and willing to let us teach him! We weren’t able to teach him the first time because he was gone…. But we taught his wife and she was really interested and she accepted the baptismal goal date! We still haven’t taught him yet because he is always busy! But he is so nice and really willing to be taught! So we will see how this goes! He is still really young! He is maybe only 30! So we will go back to him and his wife this week!

Well this last weekend was our Stake Conference! Elder Manuel Agustin from the quorum of the seventy came and spoke in the Adult session and on the Sunday session! He has so bold! I really love him! His talks were amazing! He had a power point and showed a little video! I was so impressed with the talks and his topics! He talked about Sunday Delight! I really learned so much also about the Atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ! And I also learned about fasting! He showed us in scientific ways about fasting and that it is scientifically proved that we can only go 24 hours of fasting before we lose energy! So our body will give us energy during our fasting but only for 24 hours! So I know that God really does know our bodies because he created us and so we can all fast for the appropriate time that was given to us! And just how sacred fasting is and we should always have a purpose with our fast!

Well on the Sunday session! Our mission President talked! And His whole talk was centered on my experience a few weeks ago! We I was really sick and I was really scared because of how my body was reacting to the medicine! So he shared that story with the whole stake and how I was helped by so many people and how fast they reacted to help me in that scary situation! And He applied it to how we have so many Less Active members that are in need of help and that how we need to react right away and help them in every way that we can! Well it was a really good talk! Even though my head was down and my face was going red because I was so embarrassed! Haha but it’s okay because most of them didn’t understand because it was all in English! But for the ones that did understand were asking if I was okay! But lets just say that the whole Stake now knows my name! haha

Well we are so excited because this week we will have a baptism! Sister Rinalin Cainta!!!! And also we will have a CHURCH TOUR!!! We have been planning this Church Tour for way over a month! And it is finally happening this Saturday at 6:30pm! We have been giving out invitations to everyone we talk to and also the members are giving invitations to their friends and neighbors! We are so excited because we take them on a tour of the church and then at the end we will all meet in the cultural hall and we will show the restoration video and hand out pamphlets to the people that come! So this should be a great way to receive referrals and find new investigators! So next week I will let you know how everything went!

Well I love you all so much! I am so grateful to be a full-time missionary!!!!! This is the best Job in the whole world!! I never want to come home! J

Mahal na mahal ko kayo! Ingat po kayo lagi!!!

Hello Everyone!

So this week was kind of crazy! But don’t worry we survived! :)

Well This week was really great at first! I don’t know what it was but I completely changed my diet to more healthier food! And I also started doing things that just really helped my to be 100% focused on the work! We were seriously working so hard even though I was loosing my voice and had a cough! I was still going strong! Sometimes it was hard speaking to people... But I could do it because I had the Lord’s strength with me! Our work was just going up and our companionship was doing better and I just felt happier even though I was sick!

Okay now this is the crazy part of our week! Well my ka-bahay (house mate), Sister Havea, got really sick! She was having fevers on and off and then she was just physically so weak to do anything! And then she started getting rashes over her whole body and she was just so so so sick! So her companion took her to the hospital in Tarlac which is about an hour travel! They got tests done and when she got her results... She was positive for Dengue Fever!!!! We were seriously so worried for her! So Sister Clark called us and said that I have to take her to Tarlac the next day and we will stay there for 3-5 days until she gets better! I had to be the one to go because I was sick also and because we had to leave our companions so that they could continue working in our areas! We just stayed at the STL’s house in Tarlac so that we were close to the hospital because she had to go everyday to take a CBC for her blood to make sure her blood platelets weren’t going to low. It was scary because the first test she was 176 and then the next day she dropped to 165 and then the next day she dropped to 148 and then to 145 and then it was a miracle because she finally went back up today! :) She is now at 185!!!! WOOHOOO!!! We can go back to our areas now! We will go back tomorrow morning! We are so excited! President and Sister Clark will take us back, because we have our Zone Interviews tomorrow! :) oh and I also got checked up when we were at the doctors and I am now on lots of drugs! But don’t worry!! The work still goes on!!! Oh and they think that my sickness was an allergic reaction at first... So they gave me some peels at first and I was taking them for about a week... But that wasn’t it! Because I was still sick... So they finally gave me new medicine today! So hopefully it will be gone soon! Don’t forget to pray for us! Haha!

Well I just want to share one experience where we got lost here in Tarlac! Even though Sister Havea was sick we still had to go take this language assessment Test for something... I don’t know why! So we took a jeepney to SM and then we took the test and then we left! Well on our way out... We crossed this bridge over the high way that had a lot of stairs so that we could get to the other side to get on a jeepney... But then we were got there... We realized we were on the wrong side and we didn’t even needed to cross... So we went all the way back and it was hard on Sister Havea because she gets tired very easy because of the Dengue Fever! But as we were climb the stairs again... There was a little kid sitting there and he said, “ Sisters pagod naman po kayo” (Sisters you seem tired)! Haha and then when we finally got there and got on the right jeepney... We really had no idea where we were going! We just knew the name of the place and we were hoping the driver would start... But he didn’t! Haha so after being on there for a while... I was like Sister Havea,I think we have gone to far! So we asked the driver and he said we already passed it! So we got off and crossed the highway and we were just standing there in the dark and in the rain waiting for a jeepney to come and we had no idea where we were! We finally got on a jeepney and started going back... I asked a nice lady on the Jeepney where this place was... She said it was really far! We had gone so far past the place we were suppose to go! When we finally got back... We just crashed on the beds because we just wore our selves out! Haha but it was a good experience to learn how to get to the Sisters house!

Well This is about all I have to share for this week! Maybe next week will be better! Haha

Mahal na mahal ko kayo! Ingat po kayo lagi! :)

Love,

Dear Friends and Family!

This last Monday was so much fun because we had Family Home Evening at Roy and Ann Augustine! And the Tolentino family came as well. It was so much fun! I gave the lesson and then after Sam and Shimae gave the games! Which you will see in the pictures the outcome from the game! Haha they really got us good!

On Tuesday we had MLC at the mission home! But while we were traveling there in the morning our jeepney was stuck in traffic! We sat there for like 20 minutes but we were not moving! We were freaking out because we had to be to the Mission office on time so that we could take another jeepney with the other missionaries to the Mission home! Well we finally made a decision to walk until we could find a tricycle! Well as we were walking, it started raining!!! Haha we had no umbrella! So we were running across this huge bridge in the rain trying to make it on time! As we were running, I was singing happy birthday to Sister Pantaleon! Haha I think she had a great birthday! Well by the time we had ran so far and we were soaking wet… we finally found a tricycle and we literally just made it on time! But when we got to the mission home… we were freezing because the air con. Was on high! But it was okay because we had the best lunch ever there! We had Hamburgers!! Wow! It’s been a while sense I have had a hamburger like that (home made)! Sobrang masarap! And then for dessert we had fruit pizza! Yes I was in Heaven! Haha J

On Wednesday we had our Zone Training and it went really great! I think our whole zone really felt the spirit and we all know now what it takes to make our goal as a mission and to succeed in the work of salvation! Well that same day when we went out to work, we just randomly knocked (Tao po) at this one house! A lady answered it and she let us in! After talking to her for a minute we started sharing with her! When we started… she started to cry and said that earlier she had received a text that messengers from God are going to visit her or something like that… and then we came… and she took that as her answer that everything we taught was true! She accepted a baptismal goal date!! Now I know that God really does prepare his children to receive the gospel even if it is in mysterious ways!

On Friday I went on exchanges with Sister Lawrence! She is just the batch after me! She is seriously so awesome! I really had a great day with her! She teaches very well and has a lot of potential! I am grateful for my exchanges with her! She is from New Zealand and knows some of the people that I know from the MTC!!! J

On Saturday! Tatay Francis Tolentino finally got baptized!!!!! His whole family was at the baptism! It was such a happy day for Tatay Francis! He has been an investigator for probably more than 10 years! And now he has finally accepted the truth of the gospel into his life! J

Well earlier today! We had a Zone Activity!! We just all meet at the chapel and played games as a zone and some of the members as well. We had so much fun!!! I have not laughed so hard in a long time! Grabe baliw ang zone ko pero, astig sila! The only bad part was that one Elder... Elder Ditan really hurt his leg! He like fell or something! I am not really sure because I didn’t see it! But we got him a wrap and ice! So hopefully he is better to go back to work tomorrow!

Well I love you all so much! Thank you for everything! Ingat po kayo lagi! Mahal ko kayo!

Wow this week was just amazing!!! I learned to much!!!! and we have seen so many blessings and miracles happening in our area!

Well I'll start out with Tuesday! We went to the mission home in Tarlac for MLC (Mission Leaders Council).. and it was a special meeting because Elder Bowen from the quorum of the seventy was there! He started out the meeting with saying "I'm going to be very blunt and bold today Elders and Sisters.. I hope you don't get offended but if you do.. it's not me.. it's the Spirit." WOW! Yeah!! he really has the Spirit with him when he teaches! He was so bold but we learned so much! One thing that stood out to me was a story he talked to us about from the bible. The story about the Fig Tree! When Christ and his disciples were hungry and they saw a fig tree and it had leaves on it! which meant it had fruit because fig trees always produce fruit before its leaves! but when Jesus and his disciples got closer to the tree, they came to found that there was no fruit! So Christ cursed the tree so no one will eat of it. Well Elder Bowen gave that as an example to us.. We have been give this calling and we hold this position and we have this name tag (Our leaves). But where are our fruits? Our fruits come from our example and our obedience and us actually living what we say we live! Because that tree was a hypocrite! and So if we go preaching the gospel but we are not actually living the gospel.. we are being a hypocrite..  and if we are teaching obedience.. but we are actually disobedient... we are a hypocrite !!!! So everyone be careful that we are living what we preach!!!!

*In the Bible.. (Mark 11) the fig tree... and the Bible Dictionary.. Fig Tree.

On Wednesday we had exchanges with the Sisters in Camiling 2. I was with Sister Tacon in their area! It was weird going to Camiling because it was like coming home because that was my first zone and I had been there for 6 months! so that was kind of fun to go back! Well Sister Tacon is so crazy in a good way!!! She is so much fun and we had a great time! She is kind of a newer missionary so she is still progress towards Real Growth.. well I guess we all are actually! But she is a hardworker and she loves being a missionary! But when we worked in their area we found a new family for them to teach! That was seriously a miracle!!! and I think the Sisters in that area will be blessed to be able to baptize a family now! :) and we even taught one of their less active families and we taught one of the sons that they had never taught before. He is a member but maybe he has just made wrong decisions in his life. But he was so will to go to church and he said he wants to work with the missionaries to see if he would want to serve a full time mission. and right after the lesson he took out the earing that was in his ear! :) So that was a great experience with Sister Tacon!

On Thursday we had our mission tour!!! So we traveled again to Tarlac! lots and lots of traveling this week! but it was all worth it! The mission tour was With.. of course Elder Bowen and his wife and of course our mission president and his wife! Well There is so much I can share.. but I will just share a little bit!

Well first with Sister Bowen! She gave us an assignment.. and she asked us to write a paper. But it has to be about an unknown civilization... and about their gold and money and how they use it... and about their farming and their wars! and we have to have all the time periods and dates. and we have to write 9 pages a day for 60-65 days! and we are not allowed to go back and erase.. but it has to be perfect with no errors!.... She then told us that is is impossible for us to do it!!! She said there is no way will could!!!! But Joseph Smith is no ordinary man! He is a prophet of God who translated the book of Mormon through the power of God!!! Yes I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God!

From Elder Bowen.. I now understand the Priesthood power and how it works for everyone depending to our personal righteousness. I even now understand the Abrahamic Covenant! :) I fill like I have gain a greater knowledge of the gospel now! :)

Well our area is really progressing and we are doing really great with the work here!!!!! :) I love being a missionary!!!

oh and we were super blessed yesterday at church! Because I talked in sacrament and then Sister Pantaleon taught the Gospel Principles class.. and then We both taught the Relief Society class! haha yeah we have lots of blessings now! but we are now tired of talking! haha

Well I just want to wish a Happy Father's day to the best dad in the whole world!! Thank you dad for everything! Love you!

Sister Freeman

Well this week is absolutely crazy! haha
hmm... where should I start! ... Well this week was transfer announcements... and yes after being in Kalikid Branch for 6 months I finally transfered! But I was really shocked to here where I was going and what I was becoming! I was transfered here in Santa Ignacia Ward 1. My new companion is Sister Pantaleon and I am now a STL (Sister Training Leader)... Yeah!! all I can say is please pray for me! I am grateful for this opportunity that I have to be an example to other sisters.. but at the same time I am really nervous! I just hope that I can do this! I am excited to be able to work with a lot of Sisters and get to know them.. but yes.. just keep praying for me and the sisters here under our stewardship! I think this is going to be the time for me to have Real growth!

Well I was also shocked... because the follow traininer for my anak is Sister Tuilaepa :O!!!! Thats my companion before Sister Oliva! Sister Tuilaepa was in Kalikid for 7 & 1/2 months!!! and now she just went back and she will be there for another 3 months! I was so shocked!!! Her mission is Kalikid Mission! talaga!! haha but Sister Oliva might be going to New York soon! ... But I really miss my anak and I hope she is doing okay! I love both of my companions and I am excited that they will get to know each other!

Well this week in my new area.. we have already seen so many miracles! We have found a lot of new investigators and they were like all super willing to except BGD!!! it's like we are finding the elect and I think we are going to be super blessed with have exchanges as well. I think this area is going to see a lot of growth! I really am just having all my faith in Heavenly Father right now!

Well I can't wait to write more next week and give and update about MLC and my first exchanges as a STL next week! :)

LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! :) Ingat po!

This week has been a lot better then last week! Last week we had a hard time with all of the trials, but we were able to keep working and were able to grow from everything! Sister Oliva is doing a lot better now. Before, she was super sad and heart broken, but now that she had been studying about the Plan of Salvation.. she has a better understanding of everything and has been able to continue with a smile on her face.

That's the reason I didn't email last because a Sister in our mission, Sister Victorino, passed away last week from an infection that spread really fast in her body! The doctors don't know where the infection is from but it was so fast that her heart finally failed. This sweet missionary is actually the first cousin of my companion! Last Monday we traveled to San Jose.. about an hour or two from us, and they had a memorial service for Sister Victorino. My companion spoke at it because she was they only family member there because they had already sent her body back to her family in Bicol. They had pictures of Sister Victorino and then a few speakers. Everyone that was there knew Sister Victorino and were touched by her in some way. It was so sad to see a beautiful young missionary leave this life early! But we know that she is continuing her work up there!

Yesterday, We were very blessed! For some reason we had no members working with us and we were so punted! So we went to one of our investigators and her and her family were leaving just as we got there. We asked were they were going and she said to her parents house. We asked if her parents or her sister would be interested in us teaching them. She said yes and so we went with her and her husband and son to meet her family! When we got there they were so excited to meet us! They had been taught by the sister missionaries in 2009. They loved the sisters so much and they were so excited to have us in there home. We shared a short message and we have a return appointment with them! But at the end of the lesson.. we asked if Our investigator would say the pray.. when she prayed she cried! Even though she is not a member yet.. she was so excited to share the gospel with her family!

Oh and I forgot to tell you last week that I got bit by a dog! but I was lucky that I didn't have to go through a million shots and yes I am still alive! :)

Oh and last last week I went on exchanges with my Nanay (Trainer)! Because she is my STL. She is a STL in Cabanatuan! I was so lucky to go on exchanges with her!! I went into their area to work! And we had the funnest day ever! we were really good with teaching in Unity! We worked hard all day! and yes I had missed her so much! So it was fun to catch up I guess you could say! but at the end of the day when we had our evaluation! It was really awesome because she was the one that saw me when I first got into the mission. So she was able to see my growth as a missionary! I could even see her growth as a missionary! She just told me how proud she was of me and how much I have really grown! Yes it was one of the best exchanges I have ever been on!

Well I love you all so much and I am sorry because I am not sending any pictures because I had forgotten to bring my cord or card reader! So sorry about that! But next week I will send pictures!!!

I know that this is the true church!!!!!! :) and the Plan of Salvation is real :)

Sincerely,
Sister Freeman

Hello Family and Friends!
This week has been great!!!! On of our investigators will be interviewed for baptism tomorrow!! We are so excited!!!!! He really is ready! Please everyone pray for Tatay Manuel Domingo!!! Please!!!

and Then Sister Joy is just great!! She is really progressing!!! She promised she will wear a skirt to church this coming Sunday!!!! :) It's really hard for her to change because she has been like that her whole life! But I know that Only Jesus Christ and his gospel can literally change a persons character and change their heart!! She is making some really big changes in her life and it is really hard for her!! so everyone keep praying for her! :)

Okay this last week we meet a boy name John.. but everyone calls him Wan! Well he is deaf! I have forgotten a lot of sign language.. but I remembered enough to be able to talk to him for a minute and invite him to church! ... and guess what?? He came to church yesterday! I really didn't think he would come because we just met him for like one second! but he came!! We are going to start teaching him with his family on Wednesday!!!! :) I am so excited...but my sign language is kind of rusty!!! If anyone can do me the biggest favor in the whole world and send me like videos or even emails about sign language so that we can teach him the Restoration of the gospel.. that would be so great!!!!! so we had Zone Training this last week and it was a great opportunity  to learn and help us become more effective missionary. As well as Conference this week was really touching! I noticed that so many talks were about families. I am praying that this is the time we can really start finding families to teach and help them receive the eternal gifts from God. But one talk that stood out to me the most was the talk by Henery B. Eyering about the law of the Fast! That really hit me how important that we should care for the poor through our fast offerings. I also realized how much when I teach our investigators about the fast...how much more I need to focus on the service and charity they are showing when they pay their fast offering!  Well I actually loved all of the talks actually! So i was so grateful for everything that I learned this last weekend!

I know that we have a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson!! and I was so sad to see that people are losing their faith and did not sustain him!!!! I know that he was called of God to guide us in these Latter Days!!! I know that his apostals are also instruments in Gods hands!! I know that if we have faith in God and his commandments.. we will Follow His Prophets and apostals and I KNOW that we will receive eternal blessings!!!! The world is getting so wicked now and we need to all hold our heads up high and press forward in our faith!!! This is the true gospel... SO LIVE IT!!!!!!

I'm sorry I don't have much to write this week! But I hope you all will go back and read or listen to the talks that were in this general conference... you will feel the spirit and find guidance in your life!!!

So this week has been with training! I love going back to the basics, it's like a refreshment! Well my Anak is doing great with adjusting to missionary life! She is a really hard worker and she loves talking to people! We have been so blessed with finding a family to teach! They are really progressing and they promised to go to church this Sunday as a whole family!!!! We are so excited! but the only fall back to them being baptized is that they are not married! They have been together for 18 years and they are just waiting for papers to get signed before they get married because the girls parents are actually in America! But they are so awesome and we are just praying the these papers will be signed faster!

We had one sad thing happen this week! Three of our really progressing investigators, they are all brother and sisters, just moved away! We are sad because we won't be able to be there when they get baptized! But we are praying that the missionaries that receive them, will really take care of them!

And then one more exciting news!!! We were teaching One person that is gay and one person that is a Lesbian. We were scared at first to teach them The Law of Chastity, because we didn't want to offend them in anyway! So we made a really amazing lesson plan with inspired questions and everything! Well when we taught them The Law of Chastity.. they took it really well and they said that they want to change so that one day they can start a family and they said that they love God more then themselves so that they are willing to obey this commandment! We promised the blessings that they will receive and the spirit was so strong!!! I know that this gospel is true and really does change lives! I know that this law of Chastity is for us to keep our selfs pure in thought and words and our actions! I am so grateful for the miracles that I have been apart of here on the mission! I am so grateful for this opportunity to see people and the whole life change because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!!!! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!!!!!!! I never want to go home!!!!!!!!!!

This is the true gospel.....LIVE IT!!!!!! :)

Hello!!! :)

This week has been just great! Sister Tuilaepa and I get a long just great! We have been really working hard! We have struggled a little bit this week with finding new Investigators, but we do have an appointment on Tuesday to teach a new family, who we are really hoping this will be the family we have been praying for!!!!

The work is going great and we have a baptism this coming Saturday and we are starting to prepare for April. Our companionship is doing great and we really do love and support one another! The members are still working hard! We are planning a fireside with them that might be a really great way for us to get the trust of the members and receive more referrals! I am so excited because I feel like we are really close with our Branch Presidency in planning this fireside and they are really involved in it! We have a lot of support from this branch!

Oh and YES!! the Baptism is Jswhy Abellera!!!! :) We are so excited for him! His Dad will be the one to baptism him on Saturday! His whole family are members and were sealed in the Temple! Jswhy went to church when he was a young boy, but then he never got baptized and he went Less Active... haha Yes a Less Active Investigator! haha Well we have been teaching him for a while and he is finally ready to make these sacred covenants on Saturday!! :)

Well one of our new Investigators that came up to us last last week! Him and his Sister are really progressing! They are really searching for the answers! Lovely, our girl investigator.. she came to Church yesterday and she said she felt so welcomed and she was so grateful to be there! She also said that she has learned a lot from the classes! :) and ChristerJohn was not able to come because he had to stay with his mom! But he said he will try next week! But he did tell me that he believes in The BOOK OF MORMON!! Because it's the TRUTH!!!! :) I really love teaching these investigators everyday!! I love them so much and they really do have a strong desire to learn more and to come closer to Jesus Christ! :)

Well I just wanted to share a few of my thoughts about the opportunity we had to write our feelings about the Atonement this last Zone Training! From studying and focusing on the Atonement these last few months has given me some type of strength to be able to overcome or endure the trials of everyday as well as to just have a greater love and compassion for everyone around me! The Atonement has given me peace, safety, love, strength, hope, understanding, happiness, change of heart, forgiveness, repentance, eternal life, great blessings, comfort, joy, patience, humility, charity, service and compassion!!! The Atonement has been the most powerful and life changing gift I have ever received! I am so grateful we were able to really study it and more fully understand the affects of the Atonement in not only my life, but also the lives of my investigators!

Oh and I am emailing late again because we went to Dingalan Beach today as a Zone!!! It was so much fun!!! at it was our last Zone activity together before transfers this week! I have no idea what is going to happen this transfer! but I will let you know what happens next Monday!!!! Oh and I have some beautiful pictures of the beach to send this week! YAY! haha

Hello!!

Yesterday, we had no power.. it's called a brown out!! so we were not able to email yesterday!! But we were given special permission to email now! :) So don't worry family! I am still alive and everything is just great!! :)

Yesterday, because we weren't able to email... we went to the hospital to visit one of the members that was really sick! We call her Mommy D!! She always makes food for us and she takes care of us! and Her daughter Jinky is the one that works with us a lot! So we went to visit her for our P-Day! She seems to be doing better now and should hopefully be out of the hospital soon! We love her so much! Please everyone pray for her and her family at this time!!

Well this last Saturday.. we had a Baptism!!!!!!! :) Marty Galvez Mateo was baptized! He was so excited!! he Dad came as well and we are hoping that one day he will follow the example of his wife and kids!!!! Their Dad is the only one that is not yet a member!! but what was so great at Marty's baptism.. His sister Misty spoke! and when she spoke... she spoke directly to her Dad and said that she hopes her whole family is baptized and that they can be together forever!!! :) So we are really wanting to teach him!! But he is always so busy on Sundays because of his work, so he can't go to church! So please pray for him too!!!

Then on Friday!! We surprised my companion!!!!! :) Because it was her birthday and her one year mark!!! so after our work and it was dinner time! I told her that Mommy D invited us for dinner! So we went there and they had the members hiding and they surprised her with a little party! it was just food and cake!! :) and then we shared a message with them for her birthday!! She was so surprised and she was so happy!!!

and then on Sunday.. Our Branch presidency and their families had a Family Home Evening with us for my companion's birthday! I was the one that shared the lesson and then the 1st counselor gave his closing remarks because it was his house.. and he told us how grateful he was for the missionaries and how much they want to support us and help us in the work.. and if we even need anything we can just go to them! So that was a really great Family Home Evening to build the trust of our branch!!! :)

Well overall this was a really great week! We have received lots of referrals from the members and we have found  a lot of new investigators! and the investigators that we do have are really progressing!! :) Yes we are really working hard! and we are so grateful for all of your prayers!!!

Oh and last night! We went to one of the members house last night because their mother-in-law had passed away! So we went to visit the family! and the Husband of the woman that passed away is actually Less Active and we were able to share a message to him about the Atonement and the Plan of Salvation! We had touched his heart so much that he asked us to come back! and he had been sad the whole day.. but he told us that he was feeling more happy and that he was going to be okay!!!

WOW!! I Love the gospel and the amazing blessings we receive through living it!!! The Gospel really can bring joy and happiness and peace into our lives!!!! I have seen so many people change their whole life because of the gospel!!! I know that this is the true church and Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer!! and I know that I am in the right mission and in the right place!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone! :)
Happy Late Velentines Day!!

So this week has been good and kind of rough!
Well I'll start with today! I am emailing late because we were at the Church with some of the members! We played Volleyball with them and then had lunch with them!! It was so much fun!! I love our branch so much!!! I wish I had pictures but I was just having so much fun that I forget to take pictures! maybe next time!!!

Well this week we found a new Investigator! She is actually former investigator and she seems really interested in being taught!! I don't know why she was dropped before! She has a little boy that is so cute and he is about 4 years old! then her husband... hmm.. he doesn't seem to like us that much! But maybe one day he will come around!

Well on Valentines Day was kind of rough! We only had three lessons! but it was okay! Because all of our youth investigators attended the Valentines dance in Bongabon!! Which is so great because we know that they are really progressing and making friends with the branch! Actually Brother Jerome had his Interview On Saturday and He passed!! :) So he will be baptized this Saturday!! We are so excited for him!! So I will be sending pictures next week of that hopefully!! Sometimes it's hard to send pictures because there are some places that I am scared that my card will get a virus on it!

Well this next part it the rough part of the day! This is actually part of my Email for President Clark! It might seem stupid that we would cry over that, but in missionary work when you are just really trying to get close with the members and the branch to become one in the work of salvation... your whole heart is in it and it hurts when we get rejected.

Well yesterday was kind of a rough day for us! We were both crying at church! One of the recent converts that we had taught last week came to us with a problem; She had accidentally put the shirt in with Clorox and it ruined the shirt, However, this shirt belonged to the women she was working for, who is also a member. The Recent Convert was so scared that she would be so mad because it was her favorite shirt! Well we used that has a teaching opportunity! We shared a scripture about "Seeking first the Kingdom of God before the riches of the world." and we even shared an experience to her! We told her that she needs to tell her boss the truth so that she has no sin upon her, and then we said if her boss gets really mad at you, then she is the one with the sin upon her head because she loves that shirt more!... Well we ended the lesson and we were on our way! Then about a week later we went back to the house to teach her again! However, this time, no one came to the door even though we could hear them talking inside. It made us a little sad but we figured they were just busy! So then the next day at church we see the member, or the boss, and we went to say hello to her! However, she just ignored us! We told her we went to her house yesterday.. but she just said.. "you two have a sin to me." We asked her what it was and she told us that a couple of days ago she had asked the Recent Convert where her shirt was.. Well the Recent Convert told the boss that we had told her to hide it from her! So the boss was really mad at us! We talked to her and we told her that it's not true and we told her exactly what happened.. but she was so mad at us! She said some really hurtful things to us. That's not the only reason we were crying.. we had went to pick up our investigators for Church and they just did not want to go! We actually ended up dropping them because they are attending another religion. We just felt so hurt! After church during our coordination meeting our Branch Presidency asked us why we were crying! We told them the truth and they said not to worry about it and that it's just is part of missionary life and you just have to keep going and working! So that is exactly what we did! We went and worked and it seemed that all those feelings hurt just went away! We were just able to really focus on our investigators and their needs! I am so grateful to be here and for everything that we are learning!! Even though it was kind of a tough week! We still were able to find blessings and joy in the work!

I'm so sorry that my english is so bad in this!!!! I actually am a little embarrassed now! haha anyways! One of the things that helped us to really find joy was our lesson with Tatay Manuel Domingo! He did not go to church that day because he had an emergency come up with someone that wanted to kill his friend! And Tatay Manuel is a retiered army person so he found the guy that wanted to kill his friend and got the licence plate and then called the cops and gave it to the cops! Okay when I get home you have to remind me to share some of his stories from the Army! They are really cool!! He is a really great person!! Well anyways, he told us at the end of the lesson! "Sisters I want you to know that you are not wasting your time! I really am willing to be baptized and I am really willing to change" He just kept saying how willing he was and how much we are not wasting our time! He is seriously the Elect! He however, did start smoking again because the addiction is really strong! But now he is just slowly giving it up! So please everyone continue to pray for him!! He really is so amazing! It literally made us so happy to see how much of a desire he has to change!!!

Well I know that this is the True church and I am so grateful to be a missionary to share it with everyone! I Love the people here so much and I just have to say that I have the best mission in the World!!! I am so blessed to be serving the wonderful people of the Philippines!!!! I am grateful for the blessing of the gift of tongues, and It really is true!!! I am grateful to be here and to serve the the Lord with all my Heart, might, mind, and strength!!! I am grateful for the blessings my family receives from my service! I wish that my mission would never end so that they could be continually receiving these blessings! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!!! I really hope that everyone that even considers going on a mission will just do it and GO!!!!

Well I just want to share one thing that my Nanay (Sister Bagano) Shared with me in her email to me! It's really awesome! For me I just think of the scripture Mosiah 2:17 "...when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."

So here it is:

One day a man saw an old lady stranded in the side of the road, he could see that she needed help so he pulled up and got out of his car which was sputtering.( it was old and run down.)When he approached her with a smile on his face he could see that she was worried, no one had stopped to help her for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her, he didn't look safe and he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened standing out there in the cold, he knew how she felt and it was that chill which only fear can put into you. He said." I am here to help, why don't you wait in the car where it is warm? By the way my name is Bryan Anderson." Well all she had was a flat tire but for an old lady that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire, he was dirty from head to foot from being on the road and his hands hurt. As he tightened up the nuts on the wheel she rolled down the window and began to talk to him, she told him she was from out of town and that she was just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to help her, Bryan just smiled as he started to leave, the lady asked how much did she owed him, any amount would have been alright for her.
She already had imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought about being paid. This was not a job to him, this was helping somebody in need and he knew that there was plenty of people who had given him a hand in the past. He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help she could give that person the assistance they needed and Bryan added and think of me. He waited until she started the car and drove off. She was very happy that things had turned out really well.
It had been a cold and depressing day but he felt good as he headed for home. A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe, so she went in to grab a bite to eat and take the chill off her before she made the last leg of her journey home. It was a dark dingy looking restaurant, outside there were two old petrol/gas pumps. The waitress came over and bought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair, she had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet all day couldn't be erased. The lady noticed that she was around 8 months pregnant but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan....After the lady finished her meal she paid it with a $100 bill or note.
The waitress quickly went to get change for her but the old lady had slipped out through the door, she was gone by the time the waitress got back. The waitress wondered who the lady could be, then she noticed something written on the napkin or serviette. There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote, " You don't owe me anything, I have been there too, somebody once helped me out and I am helping you. If you really want to pay me back here is what you do, do what I have done to somebody else."
Under the napkin or serviette were 4 more $100 notes or bills. What a surprise ,well there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill and people to serve but the waitress made it through another day.
That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written, how could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed the money.
With the baby due in the next month it was going to be hard...she knew how worried her husband had been and as he lay sleeping next to her she gave him a soft kiss and whispered softly and low " Everything is going to be alright, I love you Bryan Anderson."

Well I love you all so much!!! take care and always be happy and serve others!! I promise Heavenly Father will bless you more then you know!!! Take care always!

Love,
Sister Freeman
